Overview

Led the architectural migration of an on-demand food delivery ecosystem from Laravel 8 to high-performance Express.js. Implemented real-time order tracking using Socket.io, message queuing with RabbitMQ, and integrated Xendit as the payment gateway.

suruhkami.id is an on-demand food delivery platform serving restaurant management, customer ordering, and driver assignment in a single unified platform. The legacy Laravel 8 system suffered from performance bottlenecks. We migrated the entire backend core into Express.js, added AMQP-based order processing via RabbitMQ, integrated Xendit callbacks for instant transaction confirmation, and leveraged Socket.io for live driver tracking on the map.
